Why are your reports showing games that are marked CLOSED or GAME ENDED on the lottery website?

Most lotteries publish two critical dates about the games they sell: “Closed" and "Last Date to Claim.”

Closed dates are important to track, but the date that’s more important to you is the “Last Date to Claim” (sometimes labeled "Last Date to Redeem" or "Claim By”).

When the lotteries mark a game CLOSED, it means they are no longer distributing that game to retailers. However, if a retailer still has an open pack, they are allowed to continue selling them.

This is why we leave “CLOSED" games on our reports. If a game has a high smart factor and you can find it, you should play it.  Because - if you win on that game, you'll still be able to claim the prize from the lottery until the Last Day to Claim has passed!
